Chester, Warrington and Shrewsbury Campus
The School of Education is a vibrant and expanding area of the University of Chester, and provides high-quality Initial Teacher Education for Early Years, Primary and Secondary trainees through a range of BA and PGCE programmes delivered from its campuses in Chester, Warrington and Shrewsbury.
The School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and innovative Senior Lecturer to join the teams contributing to the teaching and development of postgraduate and undergraduate ITE programmes taught at Chester, Warrington and Shrewsbury sites. We welcome applications from candidates with a background in Primary and Early Years English.
You will be required to have an undergraduate degree, qualified teacher status, and a degree at Master’s level or equivalent (or to be working towards a Master’s level qualification). Experience of ITE at school or HEI level is essential, as is an informed understanding of the national agenda for Universities, Education and ITE. You will also have outstanding organisational leadership and communication skills and the energy and vision to drive partnership developments.
