Role Overview:
Thrombosis Research Institute (TRI), The Weston Molecular Immunology Laboratory is looking for a talented and highly motivated Research technician in Protein Biochemistry and Cell Biology to join our team in London UK. The successful candidate will have a BSc degree in Biology or Biochemistry and at least three years of hands-on lab experience. Knowledge in protein purification technology for bacteria and mammalian cell protein expression systems would be advantageous. The applicants should be highly motivated, must be well versed in basic molecular biology and cell biology techniques, and must have experience in working chromatography platforms including the use of affinity, ion-exchange, gel filtration. The candidate will be joining a collaborative research environment, and so will need good interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate will also be responsible for laboratory management and ensuring health and safety standards are met.
