LSE is recruiting for a Sustainability Team Administrative Assistant who will provide support to the Sustainability team with a range of administrative tasks. This would include, but not be limited to, maintaining waste documentation, invoice processing and reconciliation, servicing meetings and comprehensive minute taking, electronic document management; the creation and updating of documents (using Word, Excel and on occasion Powerpoint and Adobe software); raising purchase orders, etc. This role will also be instrumental in supporting LSE to reach its Net Zero targets. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small team of sustainability experts who are passionate about making a difference, and an organisation with a long-standing commitment to sustainability.
Located in the heart of central London, LSE is one of the world’s leading universities. This role is based in the Estates Division, which manages LSE’s central London campus and halls of residence. Working as a member of the Sustainability Team, the post holder will ensure timely receipt and approval for payment of utilities invoices: energy, water, waste services. The post holder will also collate data from invoices or other sources to produce standard reports for a range of environmental indicators.
The successful candidate should have experience providing administrative support in an office environment and the ability to follow set procedures accurately and consistently. The candidate should be adaptable and take initiative.
This role is a great opportunity for a potential candidate who possesses the ability to work effectively with large data sets from multiple sources, and also understand and care about the wider impact of the data and how it can be used for impact.
