The University of Gloucestershire is seeking a dedicated Careers and Employability Specialist to join our Student Futures team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with academic schools to embed employability into the curriculum, support work-based learning initiatives, and co-design engaging employability programmes. You will work directly with students, graduates, and external partners to ensure they have the tools and support needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market. As part of a dynamic team, you will also play a key role in shaping and implementing the University’s Employability Strategy, driving positive outcomes for our students and graduates.
The ideal candidate will have a background in careers guidance or coaching, student engagement, or graduate recruitment, with proven experience in building strong partnerships with academics and external stakeholders. You will bring creativity, strategic thinking, and a solution-focused mindset to this diverse role.
