Based within the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Society at the University of Chester, IMAGINING POSSIBLE FUTURES is a UKRI-funded research project managed by Associate Professor Gillian Buck, which runs from October 2024 – October 2028, and aims to undertake the first major study of participatory criminal justice across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The Project Manager will work with the team and partners to manage the successful delivery of the project and will be required undertake high level administrative and coordination duties. These will include liaising with researchers and experts by experience across the UK and Ireland; planning schedules and tasks; developing secure administrative systems; initiating and minuting meetings; and supporting budget management, resourcing and purchasing.
You will have experience of managing projects in a HE environment and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work within a team. You may be required to act as a supervisor to other members of the team when the Principal Investigator is unavailable. This will involve delegation and oversight of work and dealing with first line staffing queries.
