An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Registry team at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC). The RVC is the UK's largest and longest-established independent vet school and is a Member Institution of the University of London. The RVC offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing and biological sciences and CPD programmes in veterinary medicine and veterinary nursing.
We are seeking a part-time Registry Services Administrator to be the first point of call for student queries providing a customer facing service to students and staff. The Registry Services Administrator will work with the Registry Services Manager to improve service delivery in our fast-paced office environment. The successful applicant will staff the front desk in the new multi-teamed Registry Office at the Hawkshead Campus, will manage a number of inboxes and will triage requests. Along with other members of the Registry Services team, the successful role holder will support committee work, undertake routine purchasing and finance tasks for Academic Registry and support the Registrar's Office with project administration.
The successful post holder will have the ability to communicate confidently with a wide range of customers and have excellent customer focus. You will be able to work methodically, follow set processes and procedures and have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. A pro-active, flexible approach to your work is vital to deal with the competing demands and challenges of your daily work.
Educated to A-Level standard or with equivalent experience, the successful post holder will have the ability to make decisions and work as part of a team, and plan, manage and prioritise workload when under pressure to meet deadlines.
