Saïd Business School is seeking to recruit a Senior Research Fellow in Finance. The School welcomes applications from academics with a strong track record of research and teaching in finance.
The position is available from 1 September 2025 or at a different date by negotiation.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding scholar and educator in Finance. They should have a strong record of publication in the top international peer-reviewed journals and be capable of contributing to teaching at various levels, including undergraduate programmes, master’s programmes, the MBA, the Executive MBA, and Executive Education programmes.
Finance at Oxford Saïd is renowned for its research excellence and impact. Faculty members regularly publish in leading finance and economics journals, such as the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Political Economy, and the Review of Economic Studies. Faculty also maintain strong connections within the academic finance community, serving as journal editors, reviewers, and presenting research at prominent conferences. The successful applicant must be prepared to play a key role in the School’s efforts to expand its research and teaching capacities in Finance.
