About the role
We are seeking a Digital Development Coordinator to join our Library Innovation and Planning Team. It is intended that the post holder will spend most of their time focusing on our digital offering and working across teams. The Innovation and Planning team supports cross-service working groups and Library teams with the prioritisation, planning, financial management, workforce management, and operational implementation of various projects and service improvements related to the digital and physical infrastructures supporting Library Services.
About You
You should have experience in understanding users' needs and evaluating current platforms to identify opportunities for enhancement. You will ensure students and staff have seamless access to digital resources, working closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance the digital library experience. You will have an interest or experience in optimising systems to their fullest potential and ensuring that every feature and function is utilised to its maximum capacity. In this role, you will support projects to deploy new platforms and service improvements, driving the Library Services’ vision to deliver user-centred, seamless, digital-first services. Collaborating with IT Services and other Professional Services directorates will ensure that our service improvements significantly enhance the user experience.
About the Department
Library Services is a major part of the Student Experience Directorate, with libraries and study spaces located at three of Queen Mary’s campuses, responsibility for the university archives, and with a strong online presence.
