About the Role
The Research team is recruiting a Research/Bid Manager to work with the Executive Director of Research in supporting the delivery of research projects. As Research/Bid Manager, you will work with several teams of researchers and teacher-educators who are pioneering new methods of carrying out research that is truly integrated into delivery and grounded in school contexts. This is a new and exciting approach, and you will be working collaboratively to continually evolve and strengthen how we work.
As Research/Bid Manager you will have oversight of delivery of research projects, liaise with the Finance Team on budgets and staffing, and help implement best-practices in flexible project delivery with complex teams operating over several sites. In addition, you will support the Research and Contracts Team with bid development work to secure new funding.
This role will support the bidding process for all new opportunities the Institute decides to bid on. It will require close working with the Professional Services directorate including the COO to ensure bids are completed to a high standard and submitted on time.
This is a new, exciting and varied role that we hope you can shape with the experience and expertise that you will bring. We are a new and growing organisation: this role is an opportunity to contribute significantly to the improvement of teacher education and professional development by taking and encouraging evidence informed approaches and decision making.
