The Apple@Warwick Service at the University of Warwick, Information and Digital Group is looking for a new End User Device Specialist.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who will provide technical expertise across a breadth of technology platforms, with a focus and alignment to the Jamf and Apple platform stack (macOS and iOS, Jamf Pro, Jamf Connect, Jamf Protect) and help support wider End User Devices which may include Windows & Linux. To work on projects and tasks, across both physical infrastructure and cloud services. To work as part of a team of likeminded colleagues, to ensure that issues are resolved swiftly, technical challenges are addressed, project actions are delivered on time and services and data remain stable and highly available. Providing IT solutions for Teaching, Research and Professional services. Using a cloud preferred methodology and selecting the most appropriate technologies for the business. Supporting services both on-premise and within cloud technologies.
About You
You will need to be technically proficient, confident when speaking to our users and you will observe and define development best practice. As a team member you will ensure consistent understanding and adoption of team practices. You will assist in developing the skills of other team members and build a broad understanding of university-wide initiatives to make connections and find synergies. You will connect with people at all levels and build rewarding, positive relationships.
