Key responsibilities

  • To provide impartial career information, advice, and guidance service using online platforms, cross-service events, collaboration with both internal and external partners, and face-to-face meetings
  • To lead on internal progression and careers-related activities
  • To take the lead with Careers Strategy implementation
  • To support the Head of Learner Development with the cross-service Matrix
  • To take a lead role in the day-to-day running of the Learner Hub

About you

  • A Level 6 in Careers Advice and Guidance QCF qualification
  • Teaching qualification Level 3 (desirable)
  • An understanding of the barriers that adult learners face to finding employment
  • Previous demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Experience in co-ordinating multi-level events and delivering activities designed to engage learners
  • Experience within the FE/Education sector
