The Role
We are looking for an experienced and qualified English tutor, to teach on our Functional Skills English courses from entry level 3 to level 2 with an immediate start. Due to the increase demand for English courses, there may be further hours available from February 2025.
You need to inspire and provide a transformative education to our adult learners (19+) from in and around London. You will be responsible for providing teaching, learning, and assessments on our English provision, and monitoring learners’ performance with opportunities to support them.
You will be responsible for delivering all elements of the programme, providing support and guidance to the learners, ensuring they are challenged, and inspired, complete their work in a timely manner, and excel in achievement whilst ultimately preparing them for their Functional Skills examinations.
English department at WAES consists of GCSE and Functional Skills course leaders/tutors delivering to diverse learner groups over our three sites in Westminster. Predominantly teaching accredited courses at entry level 3 to level 2 and some bridging courses in preparation to GCSE and Functional Skills courses.
