About the role
The Leicester van Geest Multi-Omics Research Group is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician with extensive experience in performing proteomics work to join our research team. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting a research project and ensuring the smooth operation of the project. In addition, the role involves preparing and analysing plasma samples using mass spectrometry as well as doing bioinformatics for proteomics data. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have excellent skills in proteomics work and bioinformatics.
About you
To be considered the ideal candidate for this role, you should have undergone technical or scientific education to ONC or NVQ3 level and have proven experience in performing proteomics work for clinical samples as well as doing bioinformatics for proteomics data. The ability to work both as part of a team and independently is essential. Furthermore, strong organisational and interpersonal skills will be highly valued.
