The Astrophoria Foundation Year seeks to appoint a Communications and Outreach Officer.
About the role
The primary role of the Foundation Year Communications and Outreach Officer is to be responsible for promoting this programme both externally and internally. They are responsible for encouraging and supporting eligible applications to the programme through digital promotions, networking, events and engagement with schools. The post-holder helps to build the reputation of the programme and encourage further engagement from within the University of Oxford by celebrating the successes of the Astrophoria Foundation Year programme to an external and internal audience.
This is a full time, fixed-term contract until 31 July 2028.
About the Astrophoria Foundation Year
The Astrophoria Foundation Year is a one-year fully-funded foundation programme for UK state school students with significant academic potential, who have experienced severe personal disadvantage and/or disrupted education which has resulted in them being unable to apply directly for an Oxford undergraduate degree programme.
