Corpus Christi College has a vacancy for a full time Bedmaker. Main duties involve daily cleaning of rooms, offices, toilets, and staircases. Applicants must have experience in a hotel, college or similar environment and will be able to demonstrate excellent cleaning skills including knowledge of chemical handling. A vocational qualification is also desirable. There will be some weekend working required.
You will be reporting to the Head Housekeeper and will be part of a team of 24 staff, 7 of whom work at Leckhampton House the post-graduate site and the remaining at Old House for the under graduates. You will be working on your own and within your team to provide a first-class cleaning service for the College.
Applicants must have the ability to work on their own in student & learning environment, be conscientious, hardworking, and reliable. There will a certain amount of climbing of staircases and carrying bulky items as well as busy conference periods. Flexibility is key to being successful in this role.
