About the role
Applications are invited for a highly motivated and ambitious Research Fellow to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team of researchers at the newly merged Bath Institute of Sustainability and Climate Change (ISCC).
The Bath Institute of Sustainability and Climate Change integrates physical, social and systems science and engineering at Bath and develops leaders in tackling critical sustainability issues. Our work spans three core themes:
The social transformations theme focusses on social-science led interdisciplinary research, focussing on transformative climate change solutions that look across scales and sectors.

You will be expected to establish and pursue an independent programme of research. This will include publishing in high-quality journals and securing external research funding.
As a Research Fellow you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the following core objectives of the Institute, by helping to:
Excellent technical, organisational and presentation skills are essential, as is the ability to work well in an interdisciplinary environment.
Interaction with a range of academic, policy and industrial partners will be expected.
Additional information
This is a part-time (0.5 FTE) position, fixed term for 3 years initially with the expectation that this will be extended through securing further funding.
