The Department of Statistics is home to internationally respected experts in statistics and data science. Maintaining and advancing our leading reputation for teaching and research is our top priority. In line with our strategic ambitions, we are looking to appoint an Engagement and Communications Lead to join our growing professional services team.
As the Engagement and Communications Lead, you will oversee the development and delivery of the Department’s external engagement, events and communications strategy, working closely with a range of stakeholders, exploring opportunities for collaborating with industrial partners, developing the alumni network, and maximising our fundraising potential.
Candidates should be educated to degree standard or higher, or have the equivalent through experience, have experience of sourcing and developing engaging, audience-appropriate content for a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, and evidence of writing strategy, policy and reports to inform practice and procedure and achieve strategic objectives. Experience of managing a team would be advantageous.
We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working, and excellent training and development opportunities.
