The Centre for Teaching Excellence and Student Success houses the University’s budding Apprenticeship portfolio. We currently offer three Standards (Children, Young People and Families Practitioner; PGTA; Senior Leader), and are delighted to have been awarded funding by the OFS to develop three further Apprenticeship degrees, (Teacher; Physiotherapist; and Youth Worker). This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in Apprenticeship delivery to support the University’s ambitious plans in the field of work-based learning. This is offered as a Fixed Term position with the possibility of extension.
Ideal candidates will have experience of managing Apprenticeships within either Higher Education, Further Education or a Private Sector context. You will have an eye for detail and a keen understanding of compliance around Apprenticeships. A creative problem solver who will enjoy contributing to the growth of a new area for the University, particularly geared toward our widening access and participation strategy.
