Starting salary from £37,999 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £45,163 per annum.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Co-ordinator to support the team of Professor Rob Field, PVC Science and Professor of Chemistry, in their various interdisciplinary activities, both locally in Norwich and with national and international collaborators.
In this role you will be responsible for the operational oversight of both day to day research activities within the Field group, and enable and support larger and cross-institution research projects. You will manage the administrative aspects of the programme of research across the research group and with collaborating institutions, and will be the lead point of contact in the absence of the Group Leader, to ensure the cohort of research projects and research activities continue to run smoothly. You will be supported in the role by the students and postdoctoral research staff in the group.
You will be educated to PhD level in biochemistry or a related discipline and with significant post PhD experience in chemical biology. You will have demonstrable project management skills, delivering significant programmes of activity according to deadlines. This full-time post is available immediately for a fixed term period of five years.
