As the Director of People Services and Transformation, you will lead the charge in delivering and enhancing our People & Culture operational services. Collaborating closely with the Director of People & Culture and other senior leaders, you will champion employee engagement and strive for operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, implementing and transforming effective People services that enrich the staff experience, maximising effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives that align with UEL's strategic vision.
  • Leading a high-performing team, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Designing and promoting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure the effectiveness of HR services, whether delivered directly or externally.

In delivering your duties, you will embody the core values of UEL, serving as a motivational leader who empowers others to succeed. Your strategic mindset and proactive approach will be essential in navigating the challenges faced in higher education and ensuring that UEL remains a leading institution in the sector.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience as a senior HR professional, with a proven track record in leading transformational projects and facilitating change in complex organisations. You will have a comprehensive understanding of the higher education landscape and a commitment to developing a supportive culture that elevates employee performance and satisfaction.
