The successful candidate will be expected to lead and deliver individual and collaborative research and teaching in the area of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, particularly in the fields of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), make a contribution to the direction of taught and research programmes in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.The role will be responsible for generating new intellectual understanding/knowledge through the application of knowledge and for developing ideas for the application of research and teaching outcomes. 

Candidatesmust have a PhD degree intherelated field, proven experience in teaching and curriculum development within the higher education sector, and a growing national or international reputation in their field, demonstrated by a strong publication record. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and innovative learning environment are also essential. 

Salary will be within the range of450,190RMB to592,815RMB per annum depending on skills and experience (salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance). In addition, an attractive package including employment support allowance, schooling and insurance will be provided for international appointments. 

The post will initially be offered on a fixed term contract with the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China for a period of five years startingJanuary 2026or as soon as thereafter.
