About the School / Service 

IT Services is a centralised resource working collaboratively with the University community to transform UEL's digital world in line with the University’s Vision 2028 strategic plan. Engaging in ground-breaking initiatives delivered within a dynamically developing cloud environment, IT Services work closely with staff, students, partners and other key collaborators to identify technological improvements to our learning and working environments. We implement, develop and provide support for systems and services within the university’s IT Service Portfolio.

About the Job

To provide technical support within the End User Compute team to ensure a high-quality digital workspace experience. This includes supporting and maintaining a Unified Desktop Environment (UDE) across desktops, laptops and tablets running Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS.

As part of the selection process, candidates will be required to complete a technical assessment to demonstrate their practical skills and problem-solving approach.

You thrive on solving complex problems, streamlining digital experiences and enabling productivity through smart, scalable solutions. Collaboration is second nature to you and you're always exploring ways to enhance performance, security and usability across the digital workspace. You take full ownership of your work, embrace agile principles and strike the right balance between technical excellence and business impact.
