About the role

The Governance & Integrity Anti-Corruption Evidence (GI ACE) Programme is recruiting a Senior Research Communications Officer to deliver high-quality communications support to research teams and the overall GI ACE programme, scoping out new pathways to impact and strengthening those that have already been identified.

The Senior Research Communications Officer will be a key member of the GI ACE programme management team. The position involves close collaboration with the Director, Deputy Director, Programme Manager and GI ACE research teams, placing GI ACE research at the forefront of outreach and engagement activities. It involves building on research-level communications to proactively identify and respond to opportunities for programme-level visibility and influence.

The post holder will deliver high quality content, producing and administering creative and tailored communications outputs promoting the work of GI ACE researchers through a collaborative approach. This requires working directly with research teams and coordinating strategic communications that enhance research uptake.

The post holder will lead GI ACE event delivery across in-person, online and hybrid formats, while also supporting events led by partner organisations.

In coordination with the Programme Manager, the role will support results monitoring and donor reporting to ensure accountable, efficient and effective programme delivery.

You will bring solid experience leading research communications, or convincing relevant experience, a flair for writing and a sharp eye for detail. You will be able to demonstrate experience in designing and producing communications content for different audiences and across different mediums. You will be confident in your ability to turn complex, technical information into clear, compelling messaging which retains accuracy and nuance.

You will be able to effectively manage your own workload with efficiency and proactivity, while communicating clearly with the GI ACE management team and researchers.
