Are you a specialist in Microbiology and Infectious Diseases? Do you have experience in clinical practice and enjoy curriculum design? If so, we’d welcome an application from you.
We are seeking inspirational educators and role models to make a major contribution to the delivery of the KMMS undergraduate medical programme. The post holder will lead the Year 4 specialism in Microbiology and Infectious Disease. The role is open to suitably qualified individuals who have a specific interest and background in undergraduate medical, health sciences or healthcare education, and who are working in current clinical practice.
The successful applicant should have contemporary expertise in curriculum design, delivery and evaluation in undergraduate clinical, healthcare and/or medical education. Ideally, they will also have experience within the following range of activities: student selection, assessment including admissions and portfolios in medical education, electronic learning and assessment, student support, supervision and inter-professional learning and assessment.
This role will be offered at either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer depending on the meeting of the essential criteria and suitability for the role. Please indicate which role you are applying for in the application form.
This role can be matched to the appropriate NHS Clinical pay scale for the successful candidate.
