Job description:
Are you a data specialist who excels in building data solutions, transforming complex information into strategic insights?
We have an exciting opportunity to join IT Services as a Service Performance Analyst, where you'll use your analytical expertise to drive significant improvements across our university's technology operations.
In this role, you'll be the vital link between operational data and strategic decision-making. Working with diverse data sources from across our IT infrastructure, you'll apply advanced analytical techniques to develop dashboards, identify trends, forecast demands, and deliver actionable recommendations that shape how we deliver services to over 30,000 students and staff.
Who We're Looking For
Candidates should hold a degree or comparable experience in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related domain, showcasing proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence. Your solid skills in data visualisation and dashboard creation are complemented by your proficiency in statistical analysis and your ability to integrate data from various sources. Crucially, you can translate complex findings into compelling insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Extensive knowledge of Power BI or equivalent is crucial. Experience in IT service management or knowledge of ITIL frameworks would be advantageous, helping you understand the operational context behind the data.
You will enjoy working across various teams and have good stakeholder management skills to ensure relevant data is gathered and presented with collaboration in mind.
What We Offer:
In this temporary position lasting 24 months, we are dedicated to exploring flexible work arrangements that benefit both the individual and University. You will become part of the IT Services team during a transformative phase, where your insights will play a crucial role in improving planning and service improvements.
