About the Role
The Research and Innovation Communications Officer will provide added capacity to support research and innovation communications for key internal and external audiences, raising awareness of our achievements and creating engagement with our goals.
About You
The Research and Innovation Communications Officer is an all-round communications professional, with experience in developing clear and engaging messages for a variety of internal and external audiences. They will work across the university to develop high-impact, well-evidenced and engaging communications that translate complex science and research into compelling stories. Although embedded within Research and Innovation Services, they will work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues in companion teams, including with the Innovation Communications Manager and the central Communications Directorate, to ensure work is joined up.

The Research Strategy, Impact and Culture team, part of Research and Innovation Services, provides specialist expertise and strategic capacity to enable the university to deliver priority projects to enhance and grow our research and innovation activity.
