About the role

As part of our Brand and Content team, you’ll play a key role in capturing and producing multimedia content that connects our different audiences, including prospective student and showcases the very best of what the University has to offer. Working alongside our Brand and Content Manager, you will:

  • Capture and produce high-quality video and photography for social media, the website and campaign materials.
  • Support the creation of on-brand copy for marketing collateral, including leaflets, flyers and digital content.
  • Keep up to date with the latest social media trends, features and formats.
  • Assist with community management and engagement across our social platforms.
  • Capture content at key university events including open days, HE fairs and recruitment activities.

This is a hands-on creative role — perfect for someone looking to develop their multimedia and storytelling skills within a dynamic higher education marketing team.

What We’re Looking For

 Essential:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience shooting and editing high-quality photos and videos using DSLR cameras.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom).
  • Experience using social media editing tools such as CapCut, and platform tools for TikTok and Instagram.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines. Desirable:
  • Experience working in a marketing or communications team, ideally in higher education.
  • Strong storytelling and planning skills, including the ability to produce shot lists, scripts, or storyboards.
  • Knowledge of design principles or experience creating graphic content.
