About the role:
The role involves ensuring DfE regulatory compliance and audit readiness, undertaking compliance checks for all new and existing apprentices, the verification of Gateway evidence and Off the Job training. The role will require the you to engage with a range of stakeholders including academic colleagues and relevant professional services within the University. They will be responsible for conducting regular internal audits and sampling exercises that will comprise analysing, evaluating and reporting on data to ensure compliance with external regulatory requirements.
About you:
You will be professional, solution focused and will have the ability to work without supervision. They will be competent in organising, planning and prioritising work to meet deadlines and they must have the ability to analyse, evaluate, interpret, present and report on data. They will have excellent attention to detail and have an aptitude to focus on the accuracy of data and have the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the University.
The successful candidate will be expected to gain an in depth understanding of external regulatory requirements related to apprenticeship provision and be able to explain complex detailed information to others.
An undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area, e.g. Statistics, Information Management, etc. or significant professional experience plus GCSE Maths and English Language is essential. You must be a confident communicator, able to prioritise a busy workload and multitask.
