An opportunity has arisen to appoint an experienced project support officer to the TIS projects team, providing specialist project support for a range of IT projects.
About the role
This role offers the opportunity to support a wide range of technical projects that contribute to the University’s strategic goals. You will work closely with project managers and stakeholders across the institution, helping to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
There is the opportunity to either work fully office based, or hybrid up to three days a week remotely. Flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.
It is essential for you to have experience operating in a formal project delivery role and to understand project governance and processes.
You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to project delivery by creating and inputting to project documentation (this includes Project Initiation Documents, Business Cases, Highlight Reports, and managing Risk and Issue Logs); planning and administering complex meetings and pro-actively managing follow on actions; and researching and then analysing / interpreting data - this includes experience with financial data to ensure appropriate budget management.
