The Head of Careers Education leads the strategic development and delivery of LSE Careers’ education programme for students and alumni. This includes designing innovative, high-quality careers education delivered centrally and within academic departments to meet the needs of diverse cohorts. The role combines operational leadership with strategic contribution to LSE’s objectives for Education and Student Experience.
You should have previous experience in a management role within higher education or a similar environment, along with a track record of proactively developing services and processes to improve the design and delivery of careers activities. A co-operative and flexible approach is essential, as well as the ability to motivate and support team members to deliver an effective, client-focused service to all users.
We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, excellent training and development opportunities and blended/hybrid working arrangements. The post-holder would be expected to be on campus at least three days per week.
