About Us
The Systems & Courses Team set up and maintain the course and module curriculum on the student record system and focus on delivering customer service excellence through the management and effective ownership of core academic and administrative support systems and processes.
About the Job
We are looking to recruit an Officer to join the Systems & Courses Team, to support the administration of course management systems and processes.
Brief overview of position.
- Support the delivery of a professional, efficient, and responsive courses and modules administration service for staff and students
- Play an active role in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the University’s Student Records System (SITS)
- Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely set-up and maintenance of course and module data
- Contribute to the integrity of student records that underpin the University’s statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Academic Registry, Strategic Development and Delivery, Quality Assurance and Enhancement, Financial Services, and IT Services
- Liaise with external agencies, including the Student Loans Company (SLC) and UCAS, particularly during key operational periods
About You
You will have relevant knowledge and experience of student administration, including the use of a student records system and an understanding of curriculum structures. You will be a collaborative team player, able to plan, prioritise, and organise your work effectively to meet competing deadlines. With excellent attention to detail, you will be confident in understanding, interpreting, and clearly communicating complex information to a range of colleagues and stakeholders, contributing to a high-quality, student-focused service.
