The School of Dentistry is looking for enthusiastic and motivated dental care professionals who are keen to teach our undergraduate and postgraduate students.
You will be expected to undertake teaching including clinical supervision, practical teaching in the clinical skills laboratory and the delivery of lectures and tutorials in the School, as directed by the Dean of the School or relevant Academic Lead. In addition, you must be prepared to be involved in appropriate pastoral care and Academic Advising of students and to take part in the day-to-day running of the School of Dentistry.
All academic staff are obliged to take part in the formal and informal assessment of students as directed by the Dean of the School. Staff are also obliged to take part in Peer Review of Teaching, attend Academic Unit meetings and participate in training.
The post is full-time, with the possibility of job share, for the right candidates. It will appeal to individuals who wish to lead the development of prosthodontics scholarship and/or research.
The University of Liverpool's School of Dentistry is seeking a motivated, supportive Prosthodontist and educator to join our Restorative Dentistry team as a Consultant/ Senior Lecturer in Prosthodontics.
You will become part of a friendly, collaborative academic community with a proven record in teaching, scholarship and research. In this role, you will support the clinical development of both undergraduate and postgraduate students, and contribute to specialised clinical services through an Honorary Contract with Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We seek someone who enjoys teaching, values teamwork, and is passionate about advancing prosthodontic education, especially as we increase our focus on digital dentistry and outreach training.
