We are seeking to recruit a Bioinformatician to join the Translational Immunology Group, led by Professor Christian Ottensmeier in the department of Molecular and Clinical Cancer Medicine in the Institute of Systems, Molecular and Integrative Biology at the University of Liverpool.
You will be responsible for applying computational methods on datasets generated from sequenced samples collected, to support the delivery of our grant programme and publications.
We want to hear from individuals with knowledge of immunology and experience in transcriptomics (e.g. single cell transcriptomics, microarray and RNA-Seq), cancer biology and predictive modelling, who have played a key role in leading-edge research projects using transcriptomic evaluation of immune cells and who have sufficient specialist knowledge in the bioinformatics field. Applicants must have a relevant degree in bioinformatics or computational biology.
The post is available for 12 months and will be based on University Campus at the William Henry Duncan building.
