In this senior role, you will shape and deliver strategies that enhance the student journey—from arrival to graduation—ensuring high‑quality academic and pastoral support. You will oversee Student Support Managers, manage resource allocation, and develop initiatives that promote a consistent and inclusive student experience. You will work closely with academic leads to ensure the effective training and compliance of Senior Tutors and Academic Advisors, act as Deputy Local Safeguarding Officer, and lead on Fitness to Study processes. The role also includes oversight of bursaries and scholarships, analysis of student engagement and survey data, coordination of student feedback activity, and representation of the Faculty on key committees. You will champion continuous improvement and contribute to the Faculty’s strategic and operational planning.
About You
You will bring substantial experience in student experience, engagement, or support within Higher Education, with strong knowledge of sector regulations and student support standards. Highly numerate and analytically skilled, you are confident working with data to inform decisions. You will be an effective leader with excellent communication and influencing skills, able to manage diverse stakeholders and drive positive change. You will be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion, adept at solving complex problems, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, responsive environment.
