We are now looking for a Lecturer or Teaching Fellow in Construction Work Based Learning and Apprenticeships. This is a specialist teaching-focused post, primarily centred on leading and delivering our apprenticeship work-based curriculum across Levels 4, 5 and 6 for both Quantity Surveying (QS) and Construction Management (CM) pathways.

You will be the Module Leader for our work-based modules, these modules run alongside apprentices’ academic modules and are explicitly designed to help apprentices apply learning in the workplace, evidence Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs), and progress confidently towards gateway and End Point Assessment (EPA) / Apprenticeship Assessment (AA) readiness.

The modules will support apprentices across the following standards delivered within our provision: - Level 4: Construction Quantity Surveying Technician; Construction Site Supervisor - Level 6: Chartered Surveyor (Quantity Surveying pathway); Construction Quantity Surveyor; Construction Site Manager.

Alongside your module leadership responsibilities, you will also hold a defined tripartite caseload as an Academic Liaison Tutor, supporting apprentices and employers through on-programme progress reviews (apprentice–employer–university) to monitor progress, agree actions, and ensure workplace activity aligns with module and programme requirements.

If you believe you can help apprentices succeed in EPA/AA preparation while maintaining excellent employer relationships, we would love to hear from you.

We welcome applicants with transferable experience in work-based learning, professional practice, and industry-facing education. Relevant experience may be drawn from any discipline or sector and is not restricted to the construction sector.
