If so, we invite applications for the role of Support Practitioner at the Medway School of Pharmacy (MSoP).

The Medway School of Pharmacy (MSoP), a collaboration between the Universities of Greenwich and Kent, is seeking experienced healthcare practitioners to join our academic team as Support Practitioners. Primarily supporting our highly regarded postgraduate programmes, including Independent Prescribing, you will develop and deliver teaching, assess student learning, contribute to curriculum enhancement, and lead practice-focused activities that strengthen our links with healthcare stakeholders and regulatory bodies. Your professional expertise will help shape the education of future pharmacists and prescribers across both postgraduate and undergraduate programmes.

As a Lecturer in Clinical and Professional Practice: Allied Health Professional Support Practitioner, you can expect to be involved in:

  • Delivering high quality teaching on the taught programmes within the Medway School of Pharmacy.
  • Leading on the development and delivery and evaluation of the Independent/Supplementary Prescribing programmes, including curriculum design and taught content within the Allied Health area.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in the Medway School of Pharmacy, taking on appropriate management and administrative responsibilities in the day-to-day operation of the School.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Experience of delivering teaching in a university or health care setting at undergraduate or postgraduate level. 
  • Experience of training of health care professionals. 
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. 
  • A commitment to personal continuing professional development.
