Leeds Beckett University is expanding its computer science research. Among others, it has a long-term collaboration with South-West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SWYT) to use digital technologies and AI to transform the Trust’s delivery of its adult ADHD and Autism services; participates in the EU-funded project THIRDWAVE on neurosymbolic AI and Large Language Models; and has a portfolio of applied AI research in health, finance, environment and business.
We invite you to apply for a 12-month fixed-term Research Officer position to help deliver on a funded collaboration with SWYT. Duties could include, among others, the analysis of data, maintaining and developing digital tools, writing scientific papers and presenting at conferences.
The position requires knowledge and experience of AI and digital technologies. You should have enthusiasm for the research area, a strong research track record and a willingness to work in a research team.
Job sharing is possible. If you are interested in a fractional appointment lower than 0,5 FTE, please indicate that clearly in your application.
