Selwyn College is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to support the smooth running of our Maintenance Department. Working within a busy and collaborative team, the role is central to helping ensure the College estate remains safe, well-maintained and meets needs of students, Fellows, staff and visitors.
You will coordinate reactive and planned works, manage job systems, and ensure maintenance and compliance tasks are delivered on schedule. This includes maintaining accurate records, supporting health and safety processes, planning routine works, and responding effectively to urgent issues, helping to minimise disruption to the College community.
You will liaise with contractors and suppliers, obtain quotations, support purchasing, process invoices, and assist with budget tracking. As a key point of contact, you will provide clear updates, coordinate access for works, and deliver essential administrative support while ensuring clear and effective communication with College members.
We are looking for an experienced administrator with strong communication and IT skills, ideally with experience in a maintenance or facilities work environment. You will be proactive, detail-focused, and able to manage a varied workload in a fast- paced setting.
Selwyn College is home to students of all backgrounds from the UK and across the world. We are proud of our diversity. We are keen to receive applications from people who may be under- represented in our community.
