About the Job
As a Career Zone Coordinator, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of Career Zone services, ensuring an outstanding student experience across multiple campuses. You will supervise Career Zone Advisors, coordinate engagement campaigns and events, and provide front-line careers support to students and graduates.
This is a varied, fast-paced role combining team leadership, student engagement, operational management, and event coordination.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting a team of Career Zone Advisors and Student Ambassadors
- Delivering front-line careers advice including CV checks, applications, and interview support
- Planning and coordinating careers events, campaigns, and campus activities
- Managing Career Zone spaces to ensure they are welcoming, safe, and effective
- Supporting digital engagement through the Career Zone platform and social channels
- Monitoring service performance, reporting on engagement, and contributing to continuous improvement
About You
We are looking for a proactive, organised and student-focused individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about supporting employability and student success.
You will bring:
- Experience in a customer-facing, administrative or service delivery role
- Experience of coordinating events or projects and managing logistics
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Experience supporting, training, or mentoring others
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office; experience using digital platforms or social media is desirable
A background in careers guidance, higher education, or CRM systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
