Inspire future business and hospitality leaders through hands-on, industry-led teaching at one of the UK’s most dynamic creative colleges.

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Work Pattern: Weekdays and evenings (Negotiable)

We’re looking for passionate, forward-thinking Lecturers in Business and/ or Hospitality Management to join our growing academic team in September 2026.

If you’re an inspiring educator who can connect academic theory with real-world business or hospitality practice — and you’re committed to inclusive, hands-on learning — this is your opportunity to shape the next generation of future leaders at a dynamic, industry-connected college.

About the Programmes

At London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA), we deliver innovative programmes designed for diverse learners—from those beginning their journey at Level 3 to those preparing for management and leadership roles.

The Foundation School is one of the largest and most vibrant departments in the College. We offer a variety of Foundation Degrees, as well as providing critical Level 3 entry point for students progressing into a wide range of degrees across Social Sciences and the Creative Arts.

We are currently recruiting for lecturers to teach across: Foundation Degree (FdA) Applied Business Management, Foundation Degree (FdA) Hospitality and Event Management, and Level 3 Foundation Year Business and Hospitality Pathways:

As part of the Global University Systems (GUS) network and in partnership with the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), LCCA blends theory with real-world experience through experiential learning, live briefs, and industry collaboration.

The Role You’ll play a vital role in shaping learning experiences across Foundation Year and Foundation Degree programmes — inspiring students through applied, inclusive, and reflective teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across Foundation and/or FdA Business, Hospitality and Academic Skills modules.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support that encourages progression and success.
  • Use innovative, experiential learning methods to make teaching relevant and industry informed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to enhance curriculum and employability opportunities.
  • Participate in scholarly activity, professional practice, or research to maintain subject expertise.
  • Embed digital learning and inclusive approaches to support diverse learners.

About You

You’re a motivated academic or industry professional who thrives on helping students grow in confidence and capability. You bring both subject expertise and a genuine passion for teaching through doing.

Essential:

  • A relevant BA and postgraduate qualification (or equivalent professional experience) in Business, Hospitality, or a related discipline.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCert or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching at levels 3, 4, and 5.
  • Experience teaching or supporting students from a widening participation background.
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusive and experiential pedagogy.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills. Confidence using digital learning platforms and tools.

Desirable:

  • PhD or equivalent professional standing.
  • Fellowship (or working towards Fellowship) of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).
  • Strong professional or industry networks that enhance student employability.

Why Join LCCA?

  • Thrive in a creative, diverse, and collaborative teaching community.
  • Shape your teaching schedule — weekday, evening, or weekend delivery.
  • Access support for professional development, research, and enterprise activity.
  • Empower students with the skills, confidence, and creativity to thrive in business and hospitality industries.

How to Apply

If you’re passionate about progressive, hands-on education and ready to empower the next generation of business leaders, we’d love to hear from you.
