The Jeffrey Cheah Biomedical Centre (JCBC) is a £94M, 18000M2 state of the art research building on the Biomedical Campus. The building houses up to 650 staff from three different Departments/Institutes.
The Building Services Coordinator will support the JCBC Building Services Manager (BSM) to coordinate operational activities including managing service delivery by the building service technical teams, including reception. They will ensure the smooth running of all core building activities and be responsible for the associated administration duties for the effective and efficient operation of the building. They will deputise for the BSM in their absence.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for this role. Applicants should be educated to degree level or an equivalent level of practical experience, relevant to coordinating building facilities. Previous experience of building and health and safety is essential, and a working knowledge of laboratory and research facilities is also preferred. The successful candidate will also have experience of managing staff. This position is fast paced and requires excellent organisational skills and a flexible approach.
