We are looking for a full stack web developer with strong experience in developing data driven websites in an Agile environment to join our Web Transformation team at the University of Southampton. The successful candidate will;

  • Develop, maintain and extend websites and web based solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, web content management systems and underpinning databases.
  • Work with the product owner and UX designer to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and develop solutions accordingly.

This is a permanent role and the successful applicant will have skill level, equivalent to achievement of HND, Degree, NVQ4 in an appropriate subject area

Location base is Wessex institute, Chilworth Southampton Science park although staff are temporarily working remotely. There will be an element of flexible working, office based and home working on re-opening of offices
