Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University needed to recruit a large number of high-calibre international academics for 11 faculties/departments. We worked with jobs.ac.uk to implement an effective recruitment solution which consisted of a dedicated recruitment site, fully branded Enhanced Adverts and buttons on jobs.ac.uk to drive jobseekers to the adverts. We received a fantastic response from jobs.ac.uk and the campaign produced 650 high-quality applications from 59 countries. We would have no hesitation in recommending jobs.ac.uk.

We needed to recruit reasonably quickly for a niche role in our New Zealand office. After unsuccessful advertisements through top tier UK newspapers, jobs.ac.uk was recommended to us. They quickly grasped our requirements and within two days, were able to get an advert live, with a Sponsored Job by Email scheduled for week two of advertising. The combined result generated over 2000 views of the advert and over 60 applications of which we could shortlist 6 of good quality. Overall a great service at a reasonable cost!

“Griffith University were looking to attract a number of high-quality academics from outside Australia. We worked with jobs.ac.uk to develop a dedicated campaign website (www.griffithknowmore.com) to raise the profile of the university internationally. Over the course of just 3 months, the campaign site received in excess of 19,000 visitors from 154 countries and has been very successful in attracting international candidates across a wide range of academic disciplines to the university.

We now consider jobs.ac.uk to be one of our most important and successful advertising platforms for international academic and research appointments at Griffith University.”
Janine Walker, Director of HR, Griffith University
“We have had a strong working relationship with jobs.ac.uk for many years. Our statistics continually showed us that this platform attracted more international candidates for our academic positions than any other we used worldwide, so we invested in a targeted campaign site which has been even more successful for us. The assistance and support we receive from jobs.ac.uk is outstanding and we would thoroughly recommend them to other recruiters.”
Julie Stafford, College of Engineering HR Manager, University of Canterbury
“jobs.ac.uk have provided us with excellent service, value and assistance in offering a range of options to best advertise our positions. The time difference between Australia and the UK has had little or no effect on their responsiveness to our requests to advertise or seek advice. The team is a delight to deal with.”
