About the role
The School of History, Religions and Philosophies invites applications for the post of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Diaspora History starting in September 2022. This position is part of our strategic initiative to strengthen the departmental profile. The successful candidate will pursue transnational, transregional and interdisciplinary approaches to historical research and contribute to a research focus around the themes of migration, diaspora and environment. Beyond further building their own research profile, they will be committed to engaging actively with our research community. They will also contribute to the teaching and further development of our programmes. They will work together with colleagues to strengthen student and community engagement in innovative ways.
