About the Role

The successful development of research and partnerships will play a key role in delivering the University’s strategy for research and external engagement, and associated KPIs. Core to the role is the provision of expert informed, development activities to support academics in securing high quality and high value research and partner-led funding. The post holder will develop and maintain effective knowledge of key funding bodies and partner organisations nationally and internationally to optimise inter and intra-School approaches to winning funds and responding to opportunities. They will be responsible for bidding activity to external funders.

About the Role

The University is seeking to develop research and partnership opportunities to align with its research and external engagement strategy. This role will involve supporting academics in securing research funding and partnerships by providing expert advice and coordinating bidding activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with funding bodies and partner organizations to maximize funding opportunities.
