Faculty/Directorate

You will join a research team in the School of Computer Science, AI and Electronics, as an NLP Developer to create an AI chatbot for I-Diagnose Ltd. – a university accelerated student entrepreneurship, supported by  university investment and partnership. 

What you will be doing:

As a Natural Language Processing (NLP) developer working on the PatientBot project you will:

  • Review the existing prototype and requirements for an AI chatbot
  • Engage in development to improve both the software functionality and create an up-to-date AI chatbot using your specialist knowledge
  • Engage in critical decision-making both in development and project communications.

Qualifications/ experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, NLP, AI or related subject with 2:1 result or better, or equivalent industrial experience
  • Use of chatbots, NLP modelling, tools and techniques, development experience with specialist knowledge bases
