About the College
The McTimoney College of Chiropractic offers academic programmes, up to and including Masters awards, in chiropractic care for both humans and animals. It is the only chiropractic institution that offers specifically tailored programmes to those wishing to study whilst continuing to work.
The College has recently undergone dramatic expansion and now has campuses in the UK, in Europe and in Hong Kong. Central administration for all of its programmes is carried out in Abingdon, including admissions functions.
This is an exciting opportunity to bring your skills to the admissions process of a growing health college. The key part of this role is to engage with prospective students to inform them about the programmes on offer and to support them through the admissions process. Although some experience of higher education is desirable, the most important aspect of the job is being able to engage with people online, face-to-face and via telephone to encourage and support those who are eligible and interested in a career in chiropractic to enrol on the College’s internationally leading programmes.
Overall purpose of post:
As Admissions Officer, you will be responsible for managing the admissions process from initial enquiries through to the enrolment of students. You will also be required to support the College’s strategy of encouraging participation and enhancing access to higher education.
