If you’re looking for a role in which you can make your mark, have significant input on the direction of travel, and make a difference to the health care professionals of the future, then this post is for you.

Brunel’s Medical School is focused on driving innovation in medical education through digital teaching and learning, including the use of immersive technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and simulation.

The Medical School provides education and training for both medical students (5 Year Undergraduate Programme) and Physician Associate students. Both programs share several distinct features, including team-based learning, clinical anatomy, and clinical placements.

We're looking for a Learning Technologist to join and lead our small Digital Education Team within the Medical School to support our faculty and students. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and management of a range of innovative digital education tools and strategies that support the successful delivery of medical education at Brunel.

The successful candidate will be involved in the development of digital learning materials, training, and the effective and sustainable use of our various technology platforms. You’ll work closely with the other Learning Technologists and TEL Advisors, both within the College and the wider University, to share ideas and best practice. We are keen to hear from individuals with experience in digital learning technologies including VLEs, Adobe Creative Cloud, and TEL industry standard tools including as Captivate, Articulate, and Panopto, etc.

The University offers a generous leave allowance and excellent conditions of service. We are very supportive of individual’s continued professional development. The University is fully committed to creating and sustaining a fully inclusive workforce culture. We support flexible and hybrid working.
