Our University
Ravensbourne University London is an innovative, industry-focused university located at the heart of London’s newest creative community on the Greenwich Peninsula. We're champions of creativity and collaboration, dedicated to giving our learners the specialist skills and opportunities they need for outstanding careers in digital media and design.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly competent Progression Manager to manage and develop student recruitment progression partnerships with schools and colleges, and to lead on the university’s internal progression strategies.
Ravensbourne has ambitious student recruitment targets for growth over the next 5 years, and this will be a key role in contributing to achieving our targets.
The postholder will work with the UK Student Recruitment team to maintain and develop existing progression partnerships, as well as identify and establish new partnerships in expanding reach into new areas, based on course subject specialisms and geographical locations.
The postholder will deliver an annual programme of pre-university progression activities to support learners (both at partners and at Ravensbourne) in their applications to the university, for example creative workshops, portfolio crits and mock interview support.
The role includes oversight of internal progression from FE to UG and from UG to PG at Ravensbourne, and will work closely with colleagues across the institution to meet targets. The postholder is a key team player in the delivery of onsite events such as open days, open studios, discovery days and conversion events.
Working alongside the wider recruitment and marketing team, and with colleagues in Admissions and Communications & Content, the postholder will evaluate recruitment and conversion activities and work to continually improve and develop them.
The candidate
Our ideal candidate will have experience of student recruitment in higher education, including schools and colleges relationship management. They will have excellent organisational and communication skills, be customer focussed and have the desire to achieve and succeed in their work.
Please note this role is subject to a DBS check.
We particularly welcome applications from male candidates as they are under-represented at this level in this area
