The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to recruit a talented Research Fellow to be a highly productive and ambitious member of a Queen’s University Belfast and MBDA collaborative research team, investigating strategies and methods for generating evidence from computational simulation of structural and/or functional performance to support of certification by analysis.
The successful applicant will have responsibilities in leadership, independent research, collaborating with the QUB team, and outreach. Direct collaboration with MBDA will be a key aspect of the role, including regular meetings with engineers from the company.
The successful candidate must be willing to undertake, and pass, security checks as required by the funding and be able to commence the role within 6 weeks of being notified of being successful at interview

This post is available on a fixed term contract for 12 months. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
